Dutch is spoken. I arrived with a broken solar panel and Host Rutger went first to call around where I can have this repaired. In terms of location in the middle of the olive trees. I was there around November 10th. Was quiet but very cozy in terms of layout. Showers of the guests in their house. They have only been living there for 1.5 years and the guest shower has yet to be built.

Although we hadn't registered and were actually fully booked, we still found a spot behind the house on the camping field (but it wasn't raining, otherwise the ground would be critical). The place is great, we had a lovely evening with the food we ordered. Great stay and yes, only one bathroom but a clean one including a toilet seat ;). We'd be happy to go back.

Las Hamacas is a wonderful, energetic place of peace. Two warm hosts Lisa & Rutger. Camping between ancient olive trees, a beautiful terrace & clean facilities. Fresh bread rolls are available in the morning upon request. We were able to help with the olive harvest and then enjoy the fresh olive oil. Thank you for the wonderful days and the delicious meal we shared together. We hope to see you again

We were here as a family of five and felt very comfortable. The mini campsite is still under construction but everything you need is there and you can see how much love went into building everything. If we had had more time we would have stayed longer and helped with the olive harvest!

Lisa and Rutger are very hospitable hosts!! Las Hamacas Camping is a special place in Italy. We were standing underneath old olive trees. It was wonderful to help with the olive harvest and then enjoy the fresh olive oil! We enjoyed barbecue with arrostcini and the wine tasting a lot with campers from lots of different countrys! We stayed for a week and we surely will come back!!!

A campsite in the heart of magnificent olive trees, the owners are really adorable, we were able to eat and chat over a delicious meal in the evening. A quiet place that I really recommend for a change of scenery.

We had only planned 1 night at Las Hamacas, on our way to southern Italy. We were warmly welcomed by Lisa and Rutger. The wine tasting accompanied by delicious lamb on the bbq was great. The first evening we decided to stay another day and help with the olive harvest. Together with other guests at the campsite we had a great day. Very special to harvest olives, also see them being pressed in a nearby factory and then taste the super fresh olive oil! Much appreciation for the hardworking and entertaining Lisa and Rutger. Super nice location and good facilities. All places are spacious, provided with gravel, and in the evening fairytale-like between the illuminated olive trees. We have seen many places and accommodations on our trip, but Las Hamacas stands out positively for us. We will definitely go back! Ultimately, we had a wonderful 3 days and made friends. Recommended!

Enchanting location, pitches under the olive trees with water and electricity. Lisa and Ruggero delightful hosts, hospitable, kind and always available. Arrosticini and Abruzzo specialties accompanied by a good wine on the beautiful terrace among the olive trees. We will return!

Stayed here spontaneously for one night. Rutger and Lisa are super nice hosts and always approachable. There is breakfast and dinner. The bathroom is very clean. It's a small campsite. It's worth reserving in advance. We would like to come back and stay longer.

Charming Camping at Las Hamacas in Abruzzo!

The hosts, Rutger and Ligia, are the kindest people you’ll ever meet. They go above and beyond to ensure you have a fantastic stay. The campsite is super cozy, and we loved the spacious pitches that offer privacy and peace.

If you get a chance, definitely join the wine tasting event! It's such a fun way to try some amazing local wines, paired perfectly with homemade arrosticini and local cheeses. Plus, the friendly vibe makes it easy to mingle with other campers.

The location is perfect too! Just a short drive from Bari and close to breathtaking natural parks, it’s ideal for hiking and exploring the beautiful Abruzzo region.

We’re already planning our next trip back. If you want a mix of adventure and relaxation in a beautiful setting, Camping Las Hamacas is the place to be. Trust me; you won’t regret it!

We were lucky enough to stay at this small beautiful site for two nights, nestled in-between an olive grove. This site is a small eco-friendly. Everything about the site and the Hosts is 100%. Beautiful setting, caring hosts, stunning views!! We even tried out the wine tasting along with some Arosticini all of which was excellent.

We had a wonderful evening and a great spot under the olive trees. In the evening, we enjoyed a good chat with the other campers over delicious food. The bathroom with toilet and shower is modern, and everything is new or under renovation. We felt very comfortable and even brought some olive oil with us. A perfect place for a good night's sleep in the area.

Las Hamacas is a small place beautifully situated between old olive trees. There are two new, clean toilets and an extension is planned. We were able to help with the olive harvest and met great people of different nationalities. You can buy the oil from Rutger and Lisa, as well as other regional products. We would love to come back.

Can't understand the positive reviews. We had booked months in advance and paid a deposit, but the booking couldn't be found. The space we were allocated was right next to the building and the garbage cans. One shower and one toilet for the whole site. A germ-infested sink, the garbage cans overflowing and never emptied. No WiFi. Street right next to the site with a lot of traffic, loud. Far too expensive for that.

We were there at the beginning of October and we really enjoyed it. The owners take very good care of us and are always happy to help with any questions. On the last evening we took part in a wine tasting, which was really nice and a good opportunity to get in touch with the other campers.

We spent a very nice and pleasant time here. The place itself is very quiet and beautifully located in the olive grove. The only drawback is that you can hear dogs barking in the background from other farms in the distance. Lutger and Lisa are very lovely hosts, we felt like we were in good hands and had a good rest. The tasting and food are also recommended.
We'd be happy to come back if we get the chance.

The location is great, just a couple of hours' drive from Bari and close to many attractions in Abruzzo. From hiking to visiting picturesque villages, there's so much to explore. And after a day of adventures, returning to such a welcoming place is simply perfect.

If you're looking for a spot to relax and enjoy nature, Camping Las Hamacas is definitely the place. We will absolutely be back!

This is a great place to share with friends or family. It breathes a natural atmosphere, has incredible views, and is a 30-minute drive from the ocean. Plus, you can easily try typical food and wines from the region with the help of the hosts. By the way, they're the best part of the place; they solve everything and are always smiling. They love Colombian music, which makes you feel at home. I recommend coming back whenever we go to Italy.

Lovely place in a beautiful location. The owners Rutger and Lisa are still busy every day to dot the i's and cross the t's and they are doing well. The pitches are beautifully laid out and have electricity and water. The toilet building is being worked on but is not yet in use. But until that is there, the guests can use a good bathroom with shower and toilet in the house. When everything is ready, it will be 5 stars!

This is a wonderful place with amazing owners. We have spent 4 evenings here in October. The oil trees and wildflowers made the area look beautiful and the fact that it is a small camping with 10 cars made our stay very peaceful.
The owners were baking bread in the morning for us, also organised winetasting event in the evening with music, fire and friendly atmosphere.
The area is also perfect for a trip, the sea and nice little towns are within 10-30 minutes drive.
We will come back!!!

Las Hamacas Camping is a very special place for us! Camping surrounded by olive trees, a truly idyllic spot with such helpful and welcoming hosts! Here you can relax, meet nice people, and explore the surrounding towns by bike or moped. We've been here for the second time this year, this time for the olive harvest. The olive oil is highly recommended, by the way.

Nice little campsite, between the olive trees. Wine tasting was great. Rutger and Liza great hosts. Unfortunately not 5 stars, because of the electricity, which went out very regularly, every day, frequently. Advice: Camper fridge on gas, or SES on automatic, with gas. Along a main road, where a lot of traffic passes day and night. At 06:50 the glass container of the campsite is emptied. Unfortunately also many mosquitoes and flies. Actually too expensive for the facilities offered.

It was a very pleasant stay under the olive trees in beautiful surroundings. The site operators tried extremely hard to ensure that the guests had a great time in an almost family atmosphere. Really highly recommended!

We spent a night and it was so pleasantly quiet and lovely there. We had a very nice panoramic view. We were offered dinner and it was extremely tasty. The people were so kind that it felt like they were family. Thank you for everything and continue just like that!
